Re: My Name is on www.wedeclare.org

Scott, I truly do believe that wedeclare.org exists to promote certain ministries. One need look no further than your opening post on this thread to see how it works.

1. You make false, baseless assertions about me and my AFF friends and infer that they are "swine."

2. You set yourself up as a martyr for holiness.

3. You challenge everyone who doesn't sign your document, and accuse your detractors of a lack of holiness, while suggesting they need to leave the UPC.

Look, I've seen this same tactic used over and over and over. The summary is this.

Wedeclare.org exists to label, maim and marginalize anyone who doesn't sign and/or disagrees with the content. This INCLUDES UPCI men who are in complete compliance with the Holiness Positions of the organization such as myself.

Re: My Name is on www.wedeclare.org

And it's ironic and sick that this type of behavior is lauded from some corners of the movement.

I think you, and some of the founders of wedeclare.org, bank on that affirmation.

Spilling the allegorical blood of your brothers qualifies you as "conservative."

And, I've seen enough proof that some of the founders don't even believe what they signed on wedeclare.org. They rail against shorts and then post pics of their teenage kids in shorts.

How dumb is that?

They rail about defending the Manual and then shred the parts of the holiness article they don't agree with.

Me a liberal? Dude, get a mirror.

Bears repeating.

Who has done this? Honestly?

Why do you stay in the UPC when you obviously don't think it's wrong for a preacher to have a TV, that only EXCESSIVE jewelry is wrong and that going to the movies is perfectly acceptable?

See how that works, Scott?

If you want everyone out that doesn't "line up" to the traditions of the org, you'd better start packing your bags.

Re: My Name is on www.wedeclare.org

So here's my question:

If someone more liberal started a website similar to "wedeclare" with a declaration of doctrine for ministers to read and sign, and it didn't include the same (or all) of the items found in the manual--would that not be seen as divisive by conservative ministers, would they not denounce the liberals for trying to supercede the manual? Would they call them hypocrites for signing the affirmation statement, and then stating elsewhere that they only agree with a portion of what the manual contains?

This mud can be slung both ways.

Did the authors of "wedeclare.org" get the approval of Bro. Haney before they created the site? Just curious.

You have such a delicate way of wording things.

I would love to have this ability.

Guess that makes me envious, huh?
