I made it through the weekend. God has sustained me by the friendship, love, and counsel of some very dear friends of mine that took me in this weekend and sowed life into me.
God ministered to me very strongly this weekend.
I stayed with friends who live on the side of a ridge, and the view from the ridge was magnificent. I could see 20+ miles in nearly every direction... it was such a blatant spiritual metaphor that it really revived my perspective.
In the end, God has lifted me above my current situation and need and has shown me down the road and has spoken into my heart that come what may, he is my deliverer and he is my guide and he is my leader and he is my shepherd and HE will carry me through this.
He is so close to me that as the tears flowed down my cheek... they flowed down his at the same time. He is with me and he will hold my hand through this.
Even if Dee does not come back to me, I will not be alone.

Ron, I have been praying for you all weekend that you would look to the Lord for your strength during this and lean not to your own understanding.
It sounds like you are doing exactly what I have been praying you would. Keep on holding on to the Lord and let him lead you and guide you through this. At times that is going to be easier said than done but keep doing it.
The enemy of our souls would use things like this to destroy us and we must not allow that to happen.
