Even if they aren't downloading, you sit there wondering why your connection is moving at a crawl, it is because the person next door is catching up on the episodes of "24" he missed.

ohh... I use Pandora radio alot. hmmmm otherwise, we are on facebook and myspace.

I tell ya whose internet I would really like to bum off of....the Comcast cable guy on the other side of me. I bet he has the best there is... or at least knows how to get the best. I'm sure his is the secured Comcast network... There are several two wires open too, but signal isn't as strong.

Re: Median Family Income

Well I'm just a 1 person family (it sounds sad when said that way, LOL), and so my income is way below the median..

But I don't feel poor! I think it was all those years with my ex-husband. I decided then that I might be poor (he was almost always out of work), but it didn't mean I had to live in poverty! I became quite frugal and learned how to make the most of every opportunity.

And I certainly don't feel like I'm deprived of anything. In fact, I think I appreciate things a lot more now. I have needed a new purse for over a year. My old one was completely falling apart. But I kept telling myself I could do without it. I got a beautiful purse for Christmas, and every time I look at it, I just light up because I love it so much, LOL.
