Actually, it was meant as a compliment & he was praising the Americans such as Vonn, White, & others.
One thing, keep Weir home next time!

Oh Lord! I was so embarrassed that Weir was representing us!!!!!
Oh, okay, glad it was a compliment. I was getting a little defensive.
Lindsey broke her pinky! Glad she got some medals before she had to get out of the competition. I was a little surprised and disappointed that she made derogatory remarks about Tiger Woods. She should have left that alone.

The Americans did well at the games, good for them!

Von was touted as the one to beat & with her brused shin & still going out & wining Gold, well you can not deny her that.

Re: 2010 Winter Olympics
One piece of trivia, if the Americans walk away from the Winter Games with the highest medal count (and it looks like they will) it will be the first time they have done it at the Winter Games since 1932!

I was hearing that the Asian competitors, in the figure skating, are making strides because their frames are smaller and they are able to execute better moves.

She's already involved in a lot of stuff - advertising, acting. I wish someone that didn't already have the opportunities be given a chance.
A lot of people said the Asian girl from American, 6th place, should have been given better points. I didn't see it, so I don't know.
Most of it seems to be judged very fairly.
