JCM Reunion / AMC Conference Check In Thread
Check in here if you are going to be in Nashville later this week for either the JCM reunion or the AMC ministers conference!
I will be attending the JCM reunion and hope to see some of you at the Opryland Hotel.
Praying my wife gets well as she started getting sick yesterday and is not feeling well at all. I do not want to go alone! (besides I am cheap and her ticket cost $125.00!!!!!!)

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Well, I won't be there. I'm not an alumnus. My whole Bible School education was one year (1956/1957) at ABI in St. Paul, MN.
I know a couple of guys who went to JCM.
One is my wife's step brother. He lives in Florida and his name is Bruce Starling.
Another is a young man who pastors in this area. His name is Steve Zink. He just said on Facebook that he cannot be there Thursday but will make Friday and Saturday.
