You say you would not attend such a reunion of your college classmates because of those who have left "the truth" (which you indicated to be dress and hair issues)..... HOWEVER, my question is: Do you shun and would you refuse to attend a family reunion (either your extended family or your wife's extended family) knowing that some of them may have left dress standards?

THAT is exactly what Bro. Craft said. JCM is like an extended family anyway and he said you don't agree or even like all your family, but you still attend the family reunion.
As a committee, we did give him a heads up about AMC being at the same time and he didn't skip a beat - said - family comes first.

I found the pics to be sad... sad for those who have left the Apostlic Church to go the way they have...
and yes I'm thankful for friends and yes I have some who have left the Apostolic Faith and Heritage they were once a part of and remain their friend but still completely disagree with the road they have taken ...
and no I would not have attended an event like the reunion in this thread even if it was a College I attended...
I don't see it as a Celebration of Friends and this in only my opnion...I see it as a complete justification of the new life and liberties some now lead....and again this in only my opinion....sad as some of you feel it may be...
Sorry to disappoint some of you... but I can't accept that Love is always accepting of every sinful decision of those who have walked away from Truth...
One thing about the prodical Son that is interesting is that the Father never left Home to Search for His Son... although when the Son decided to Come back Home Dad was Waiting for him... I pray that those who left Home would make the decision to come back... Because I do believe that God will be waiting for them...

Exactly why so many Apostolic churches are so small and secluded and never grow. Just sit here and let them come in to our churches, let's not go out there where they are.
Good thing Jesus didn't think like most Apostolics..........

Jesus knew that Judas was going to betray him long before Judas did.......but, he never treated him any differently than any of the other disciples.
That's why when He said "one of you will betray me" they all asked "Is it me?"
We could learn some lessons from Jesus, but unfortunately, sometimes we don't. We learn a lot of lessons from the Articles of Faith tho.

Sweet Pea...who ever you may be... you know your own Pastor wouldn't attend this stuff... and He has shunned family over this "Stuff" but really thru your shallow attempt to get me... there are reasons that go much deeper than "standards"....
You folks "celebrate" who you'd like to... I just made a few comments in Humor but obviously struck a nerve...
