I totally understand the question raised about how some veiw TDJ while at the same time embracing others they know little about...

But it seems you are bent at nailing DKB to the wall for an caring and innocent request for prayer and support for a Pastor with a death sentence for preaching Jesus.

Why is that? Have you and DKB had words recently?
He's asked for prayer for a pastor of a church that is being claimed to have been planted 15 years ago by "message believers" ....

With the thousands being persecuted globally ... and others sentenced to death ... ONLY THIS ONE CATCHES HIS EYE ....

and hundreds of UPCIers are praying for the "Apostolic" pastor that is to be be executed .... None of this strikes you as IRONIC ... or NOTEWORTHY?

What's in the org's next bulletin ???? Praying for Global Network? Or the Potter's House?

The org has always been cautious about their fellowship ....

Seems like the word's getting out ... despite the CONFUSION.

Last time I communicated to DKB it was about HMH ... and I posted his cordial response ... before that .... my resignation letter ... kind exchange as well.

Well, I for one (who attends a UPC congregation) think we SHOULD pray for a GN or PH pastor that's in trouble, and yes put it in the bulletins.

I agree with you that there may exist a double standard of sorts, still yet the thread smacks of sort of entrapment for DKB. Why the negative spin?

How about praising DKB for his progressive approach in this matter?

I was at a symposium a few years ago, when DKB had invited leaders and representatives of six (or more?) Oneness Pentecostal denominations. The attendees were waiting to be addressed by the leaders. They waited for a couple extra hrs because the foot washing and prayer in the back room took predominance over all else.

DB is not a narrow leader. While he may be a conservative, he is the most progressive and open leader we and the UPCI has seen in our lifetime.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
