So....

Some of you folks have not backslid but rather found a greater path to walk in the grace and liberty of Jesus?

AT what point does the grace of God end and his judgement begin?

All of us depend on God's grace and are subject to His judgment.

There is "none good" the Bible says. What did Isaiah say when he saw the Lord? He cried out..... "Woe is me. For I am a man of unclean lips and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips."

None of us are good enough to escape judgment and none of us are bad enough to miss out on His grace.

I feel as if I've always walked in grace and liberty even when I kept certain standards while we were licensed with the UPC and before. (I was raised UPC.) I've never felt bound -- not in the negative sense.

Standards were never a problem for me. Keeping my hair uncut wasn't bondage or a weight. Neither were the other codes of "holiness" that I adhered to. It was never an issue. I did what I did gladly with no complaint.

When his grace is rejected by not giving it space in your thoughts to do what it was designed to do.

His path is straight and norrow.

UPC's path is a 10 guage wire stretched over the Grand Canyon

His yoke is easy and burdens are light.

UPC yoke is a Hard heritage and burdens that are piled on heavy by man and traditions.

Jesus said take up your cross.

UPC says you must bare a "UPC standards and traditions" approved cross.

So we are not really talking about the liberty and grace of Christ but rather our bitterness toward the UPCI
