I had a friend I went to high school with that was raised in NE Ark. just like me - she lived in London for a year and came back talking like she had been born and raised in London - - it was too funny!

I did that when I moved down south. Raised in MI and went to college in Al. Had a southern accent something awful when I came home Christmas break freshman year...3 months later!!!

I guess I think of racists as the ignorant and uneducated on both white and black sides of the fence. I'm just confused as to why someone would be that stupid.

It's too blatant, is the problem. If it was more insidious or subtle, I would think the artist might be trying to sneak it by.

That's just it.

Maybe if he was a member of the staff of the Washington Times (a legitimate Conservative paper) or the Washington Post (a legitimate Liberal paper), his cartoon would have never have been published.

But the NY Post is trying to create a name for themselves-- draw attention to themselves. This "Conservative" paper did so at the expense of Black folks.

The author and the publishers realized the implications of the cartoon.

They published it anyway.

They will not "punish" their own or themselves.

So it wasn't suicide to print that garbage.

To illustrate the level of offense I have concerning this blatant racism.

If someone peed on your head and told you it was rain, you would be angry on two fronts-- that someone would pee on you and that someone would try to justify it or explain it away.

There is NO JUSTIFICATION or EXPLAINING AWAY this offense!

An apology from the NY Post, as well as the Corporate owner "News Corp" is necessary-- but they won't admit to their wrong-doing.

Interesting enough, "News Corp" is the parent organization of Fox News.

So for all those who wonder "How can FOX News be seen as racist" this is just another example.

The Bible uses the word "pisseth", root word = "piss"-- a word I could have used, but didn't because I thought I could make the point without using a word that is quite vulgar in our vernacular.

"Urinate" is not as crude, but it does not fit in this situation, due to the blatant nature of the offense.
