It depends upon the Dispensation under question. Under the Law (before Pentecost) He undoubtedly wore what every good Jewish man in Israel wore. Unfortunately we have no idea what that was exactly.

In the Church Age His feet are "shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace." We are to do exactly likewise; though I confess that I have no idea how this answers your question nor does it appear to give us much guidance on "proper Apostolic footwear."

I have heard nurses (who are on their feet a lot) say that you should always wear "sensible shoes." Perhaps we have wisdom here, albeit from a non-Biblical source.

Perhaps if you went with "toe-out" in your sandal selection, to avoid offending brethren of a different opinion it may be wise to wear discreet and modestly placed band-aids around your toes.

But should the band-aids be clear or flesh colored?

"Flesh colored" begs the question, "Whose flesh?" Clear would reveal the flesh - and inhibit the desired modesty. So, unless your flesh tone matches Band-Aid brand band-aids (not Cure-Aid and certainly not the store brands) you must wear socks.

Awesome brother!!! When I go around those of this contention, I will gladly quote you! In all my years of service, this is by far the best answer to the toe out/heel out issue. Kudos to Pelathais!!!

Jesus is picture with a garment down to his feet, could this be used to teach against shorts?

I've also read where because the priest only showed his feet.hands and face when going into the holy place, we should to only show that much.

whta thinketh thou?
Isaiah walked around for three years naked and Peter fished naked. What does that prove??

Does this scripture mean we should not fly in airplanes or rockets or shuttles or take elevates up into sky skyscrapers?

Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The scriptures absolutely prove no shorts in these verses, my friends. We know that anyone who disagrees with me simply does not love the truth. Many verses in the scriptures are clear and many do not obey. For example, the covering in 1 Cor 11, does anyone actually follow that or do they just justify themselves with their long hair, pretending that that is good enough so they do not stick out in public? Just as people justify not wearing a covering, so too do they justify wearing pants, friends. We know these words are true because whatever we do to be holy must make us peculiar and not like the rest of the world. Are you peculiar, my friend? Electricity makes us not separate from the world systems and so do cars. Repent, my friends before it is too late.

I know you are happy I finally posted. The admin has had a conspiracy to keep me from posting on here and I have had much trouble with my account. Jesus said in the world you would have trouble. It is what we have come to expect.
