Salvation is the personal participation in the Kingdom of God and is a life-long process of increasing in faith, knowledge, obedience, relationship.

Redemption is a one time event in which the individual has no part.

Your post is a total cop-out from the facts. The only whining done here is by you. This is typical of people who have no common sense, and who can't answer the difficult questions of life and faith.

Again, go find the mirror. You desperately need it.

You are correct and I was going to say something, but I made up my mind not to respond to Mr. Jacob's Ladder anymore. There's no use.

Is the New Covenant more difficult to attain? If a man on death row cried out to Jesus in his last moments, would he now be denied due to additional requirements under the law of Christ?

You may be right. Certain people just don't want to hear the truth. We must never forget, Jesus condemned the Religious and their over-bearing knowledge of Scripture.

The man beating his chest in conviction for his sin was basking in God's will, while the man claiming his righteous works was blind. If we abate common sense in seeking God, we will fall over the cliff of seeking works.

Let's face it, none of us know what is on the other side. I do know this, Jesus gave us the story of the Good Samaritan. Some people in this life are ravaged by thieves and left in the ditch of this existence. Is it too hard for the Lord to pick these people up when they die, taking them to the inn so their wounds can be healed?

God's mercy is something the Church has forsaken because of arrogant knowledge that can't be proven.

Please, I know your kind. Mr. Sorrow yourself! Cop-out? Not one comment on the subject at hand or any scripture. Please, go sit at your computer's desk, pull out your violin and play your song titled woe is me.

The Pharisees come to mind.
