Yes, even Paul admitted that he had not yet arrived, but was still pressing forward, to attain. I want to have that same attitude as well, although you are right, it can be a hard one to keep in focus. We want to think that we have arrived, that we can sit back, relax, and have to contend no longer, but as Paul stated, even as his life was about to end, he was still pressing in.

I don't know about this. I would venture to say all the prophets in the OT, prefaced their writings by saying that the word of the Lord came to them. I'm sure someone else knows the answer to this.
About allowing yourself to be titled by some preeminent name, such as Bishop... I guess it is biblical, as Paul called himself an apostle of Jesus Christ in many places. I think the attitude behind the titling is what is more important. Does such a title puff you up, and make you feel more special and important than anyone else? If so... I would be careful about allowing such a thing, because the sin of pride is one of the worst to beset any of us.
