But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers' houses, old men who had seen the first house, wept with a loud voice when they saw the foundation of this house being laid, though many shouted aloud for joy, so that the people could not distinguish the sound of the joyful shout from the sound of the people's weeping, for the people shouted with a great shout, and the sound was heard far away.
Luke 19:37-41 ESV /
As he was drawing near—already on the way down the Mount of Olives—the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.” And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it,
Revelation 5:12-14 ESV /
Saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!

Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice;
Psalm 47:1 ESV /
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
Isaiah 12:6 ESV /
Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
Zephaniah 3:14-15 ESV /
Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! The Lord has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.
Psalm 100:1-5 ESV /
A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 150:1-6 ESV /
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! ...

Nobody said we can't be loud, but no verse mentions loudness being necessary to reach, touch, hear from or be blessed by God let alone hurt Satan

I do get a little tired of the ol constant pulpit cliche' of comparing pro football game yelling to church....we going to rip off our shirt and paint our chest too?
My elder pastor always says tho"I'd rather have a little wild fire than no fire at all...
If we were to have a very close call with losing a loved one, maybe a young child being airlifted, where they almost lose their life, are we going to cry out to God w a loud voice? They retain their life are we going to whisper thank you Lord,or shout out loud with a voice of gratitude?( ) Everyones different but either way, it's the heart that pleases Him, whether accompanied by a loud voice or not.
There's my $.01, one post for the day

We have someone like that. I have seen visitors look in utter SHOCK when he yelled.

Not because God is deaf or He won't receive our praise or the noise will shred the prince of the air.
Its about what we are feeling
