You make a credible case for the name "New Church Order."

However, from a strictly peanut-gallery point of view, I doubt most folks on the sidelines like me, will think of the name in apocalyptic and monumental terms even though there is precedent for that.

Most of us yahoos immersed in popular culture will think of it and think of professional 'rasslin.

So I have to agree with Pelathais that maybe the name is not the best one.

august when used as a adjective basically means venerable.

The root for C.A.'s eponymous title comes from the Latin augur, which means to divine or foretell events based upon the signs and omens. It also was used to refer to the officiating priests, the august elders, who revealed the will of the gods to the lower mortals by interpreting the flight of birds or the lobes of the liver of a sacrificial animal.

Pretty much the same thing our august elders are called upon to do today.
