Lower 40s? Try below zero. I fully believe the no pants ever, originated in the South. My mom grew up UPC in the north and they wore pants for winter weather and activities. Let's try some common sense, please.

I came into this discussion late and didn't read all 104 pages so forgive me if I am repeating something someone else may have said.

The people who demand their women to wear pantyhose every time they step out of the door of their houses are the same people who are having a fit over leggings which are merely pantyhose with the feet cut out. The style may be ugly but it isn't wrong. If they would just shut up and let some time pass, the leggings will soon be out of style.

Seems when I was in middle school and high school,girls wearing leggins under skirts was associated at the time with a New-wave or Punk look as new wave and punk music was popular at the time.

Yawn! This topic is stupid. Let everybody who wants to wear them do so. There is no scripture against them. As one poster already said, they are stockings with the feet out of them. Get over it!
