That frustrates me to no end! Makes me wonder what in the world you people were do if you were dropped in a place with no church. Could your relationship with God survive?
You cannot be in God's presence without being in the Church.

The truth of the matter is that you actually agree with my statement. Think back to what I said about what the Church actually is (something with which you agreed). Note that you said, "I do know what THE church is, which is a heck of a lot different than what our society calls 'church.'"

Tells you something about them doesn't it. They have left their first love.
Left their first love??? We first love God not a church body..grrrrrr!

Spouse is one thing, but brethren is another.

Church is usually called family.

I think one should go to church everytime the door is open , of course I understand sometimes when folks work on sunday they can't make it I have been there ,and sometimes I can't make it Sunday Morning but I go Sunday Night ,and make our men's prayer meeting on tuesday , but if one can go to church and doesn't they are missing out.
Everybody needs a home-church and needs to be faithful in their attendance.

If you meet with others in your area then isn't that a church meeting?
