Honey, if it is raw and all-natural is a wonderful addition to many recipes.
Don't forget maple syrup too. We like the turbinado sugar as well, we get it from our Mennonite friends.

Re: Facts, Lies or Truth About Healthy Living?

For those of you interested in healthy living, you might be interested in this promotion that is going on right now. I have found a collection of articles, e-books, e-courses plus more that is on sale right now for $29.99. I consider that a pretty good price considering the amount of information available in this bundle. There are a wealth of recipes, information, and ideas about healthy living included that are pretty awesome.

Check it out: http://ultimate-bundles.com/healthy-living-bundle-2014/

Oatmeal with butter and maple syrup.

Yummo - especially with fresh fruit on top - my favorite are huckleberries

It looks good, but I bet I'd be picking the bacon off...

But try it with a little sprinkle of bacon bits?

NO!

Why are you wanting to reject the goodness of bacon?

Re: Facts, Lies or Truth About Healthy Living?

There is just something about the thought of pigs rolling around in their own poo, and perhaps even ingesting it that just repels me. And so... it is not that I won't eat bacon... I just don't care for it that much.

You'd be happy to know that my BIL smoked these yummy steaks for my birthday celebration this past weekend.

Of course, I picked off the bacon on top. It wasn't crunchy, but soft and mushy, and I will only eat very crunchy, well cooked bacon, when I do eat it.

Wait, you eat chicken right? Chicken are disgusting filthy birds.

Pork are probably cleaner, definitely smarter, and by far better singers.

Eat the bacon, it is good for you!
