THAT is why he as popular as he is and THE most request camp speaker in our movement.

I have met him and even shared a meal with him once (woo woo), but we are not Dear Friends.
He is very personable and not much like he comes across in the pulpit, or at least that was my limited impression.

Cool! He and I are definitely on the same page there.

Wow! That makes two things we agree on! However, the Scripture and just plain good manners and common sense dictate that we show respect to them and not publicly harass and embarass them.

What is why?
That he likes to embarass preachers? Rebuke elders?
I doubt it.
He is very entertaining and draws crowds. That is possibly one reason, if he is indeed the most requested camp speaker in the UPC, however one would go about documenting that.
He also preaches some absolute masterpieces on occasion. That could be yet another reason.
Anyway, he is like all of us...feet of clay.
Certainly he is a unique man and not the cookie cutter so many are, and I appreciate that about him.
My only real beef with him is his disrespect for ministry from the pulpit, and his pitting of the pew against the pulpit. But I've already said that.
