I know...but I really want to get her this one thing she wants and it is like $30.00 but online and with shipping it ends up being almost $60.00!!!! Double the price!!!! But it is the only thing she is asking for and I know she would LOVE it! I just wish she would have told me sooner. I haven't bought her much yet because she would never tell me what she wanted and I had no clue what to buy her. I get tired of buying junk that she doesn't play with. Whenver we buy her less - but buy her things she really likes (like her gameboy) she really plays with them and I feel that we get our money's worth.

Sis take it easy...remember this is a time to celebrate the Christs birth not get into dept or stress out! I am doing what I can and still feel good about the whole thing.

With hubby off work we won't be buying any gifts...just cards for out loved ones.....

Going to the church in a few min to see whats going on with the school stuff so say a prayer please! Getting anxious here

This has been a rough morning. Reading about all these people passing away and being hurt etc.. has really hit home and its really hit and I am missing my grandparents and my mom so bad today. Just seems weird to go over and decorate my dads house for Christmas without mom there to tell me (even though I know where every single thing goes) she always had to tell me where to put everything... I even caught myself last night a couple of times looking to where her chair is to ask her and realizing she wasnt there! Just missin Mom... thanks for listening!

Well it looks like the school thing has worked out! We wont get final word until next week but thats fine! The high school teacher was talking to me today and told me she would probably be seeing him by next Wed!! Whew thats a bit of a load off!

Got my daughter and her community service taken care of too!
Dont know if I ever told yall the outcome of that but since her dr was in the hospital and unable to excuse the absenses/tardys (total of 4) they cut her fine from original first time offenders are 281 dollars and 22 hrs community service.

They offered her 81 dollar fine and 22 hrs community service or tutorials. Well she is only have trouble in one class and band.. so she is only allowed to take it in that one class which is math and her math teacher is coach and has torneys all month!!! So that kicked out the tutorials.. she can count her band concert rehersals and that is it!

So I went to the church today as our church does most of the local cs cases.. they are going to let her clean the church (thats a good 10 hrs for a first timer and a church this big!!) lol and she will go every day after school for 1 hr and vacuum fellowship hall and help decorate... they think she will be done by next weekend!!! So thats another thing off my plate.

Hubby finally got a year in waiting raise approved and funniest thing is.. we had our child support for his daughter raised it takes effect on dec 1st and his raise the same day and it totally covers plus some the extra that will be taken!! God is good!

They had also taken away his annual bonus that he got every yr for no lost time incidents because last year a guy on his crew got hurt at home.. then came to work and got reinjured and claimed it on work time! That was 1000 dollars we had for the holidays and kids bdays every yr grrr well they notified him last night that this person had been found notifying someone of how the accident actually occured and mentioned nothing about the workplace so they took claim off of work and thus my husband will be getting last yr and this yrs bonuses!!! Wont get them till Jan but hey!

Hello all - I am just checking in. I have been reading on the forum, but have not had time to post much. I have been busy with family duties, Christmas shopping and just piddling around the house. We have finally gotten settled down after the death of my nephew. It was a very sudden and unexpected passing- a real shock to us. We all had to back up and realize how we are not promised tomorrow. He was in a backslidden state when he died, but we have to comfort ourselves with the fact he is in the hands of a loving and just God. - Sorry did not mean to be so heavy-
I told yall a while back that we were in the process of purchasing a condo in Shreveport- I know it is not the vacation mecca of the US, but my husband likes to fish there! Well- the first deal we had fell through- We had kinda dropped the idea- The realtor called us out of the blue and offered us a much better deal on a bigger condo, so things our moving again. Pray that we stay in God's will on this one. We have prayed about it and want what is best for us.
I am working on finishing up the Christmas shopping- I am one of those people that like to check things off when they are finished with them! Every year my mother - who I shop for- will tell me at the last minute that she has a couple of more gifts to buy!!!!!!! Grrrr- Well I have tried to get her list from her early so we will see this year.
I am really trying to keep the holiday pounds from creeping on this year. I am walking just about every day and watching what I eat. I am also weighing every day so I can be aware if the pounds creep on. I hope I have not bored yall with my everyday praddle! I will check in you soon again.

Not bored at all that is what Gabby's is for just staying in touch....glad to hear your having a good season so far! We are not gift buying except for our son...would love to spurge, but with hubby laid off income is pretty tight so manybe next year we can have a big blow out!

Hurrraaay it's Friday....we have a very busy weekend ahead!

Tonight a dinner for the volunteers at the birth center!
Tomorrow down to Eugene to my sis's to watch the civil war game...UofO againt the OS...she lives right down the street so we should be able to hear the game from there...

Sunday a toy run and dinner....starting at the local Kmart and then going to the eagles with the toys and a dinner there!
