I'm sorry I missed you today. It's been a rough few days. I had to go to the dentist last Thursday for a filling that was "leaking". He replaced it, but then told me that another tooth had a big piece broken off and needed a crown on it right away. So I spent 3 HOURS in his chair today while he worked on getting a temporary crown on. I won't go into details, but trust me when I say it was miserable!!!!
Tomorrow I have to go to a funeral with my mom. I'll check in, but I can't say when. So I'll be back. But I can't say when

Good Morning Ladies!
I is still around but am extremely busy with my new job.
Still poke my head in from time to time-mostly just to read.
No posting or reading at work and rightly so.
Hope you have a great day in the Lord!

Hello everyone! I too have been busy- My mom has had cataract surgery this last month on both eyes, so I have been busy taking her to the doctor among all the other stuff I do. We have squeezed in a couple of fishing trips, too! I have been checking in when I could and adding my "2 bits" when appropriate. We have started talking about our annual pilgrimage away for the heat and humidity down here. We usually take the month of August and go somewhere cool. With gas prices the way they are, we are thinking of fore going the trip as a protest. We were and still are considering Flagstaff,AZ, as our cool weather destination.

I hope things were a little more entertaining today around here than they were yesterday. They were loads of fun here - NOT! I took my mom to the funeral for her best friend's husband. Her friend had died in 1998, and now the friend's husband has passed. I have to say tho that the woman who gave the message at the funeral did the best job I have ever heard for a funeral sermon. She had some great things to share!!
Yes, RGCraig is still around. Nobody has been in here much lately. Renda's son is engaged to be married. There was a whole thread with pictures of the proposal and everything. You should look that one up. It was a fun one to read!

Just peeking in to say Hi. Been busy today trying to get the kitchen painted. I hate painting. It just needed done SO badly before my inlaws show up tomorrow. With any luck-- and the continued cooperation of Michael (by doing interactive lessons on the computer) and the girls (helping paint & being errand runners) I should be done in time to serve grilled cheese sandwiches for supper... get a quick shower and make it to church right on time.
Hope everyone is having a great day!

I am so proud of myself... I have almost finished the painting kitchen.. just have a tiny bit left to do on Friday (The wall behind the china cabinet & fridge.) I'd have done it today, but didn't have the energy to move those two very large things by myself. China cabinet has to be emptied to move it.
Everything else is done. It looks great!! (Even if I do say so)
Now I want to paint the living room....... and the kids rooms and master bedroom & master bath. Hopefully if the price of gas doesn't eat so much of the budget that I can't afford paint-- I'll get it all done over the summer.
