I didn't say John's baptism saved anyone. Surely we all know that the disiciples of John found in the book of Acts were baptized again in the name of the Lord.
I wrote Jesus said he needed to be baptized of John to fulfill all rightousness. And He was baptized. Jesus tells all who will listen "He that beleive's and is baptized shall be saved". Appearntly the actual act of being dunk has some divine purpose otherwise Jesus would not have had to be baptized by John nor would He tells us we need to believe and be baptized.
Maybe we can look into the phraseology of "to fullfill all rightousness" a little later. I'm about to be kicked of this PC at the Library because they are closing.
