Now let me see. I have been losing hair for the past ten years now. If all that hair fell with anointing, I have blessed the entire NE quarter of the US. The beard is a riot.

I haven't read all the replies, but being raised UPC, it was always taught in our church that dancing was a sin. No one was allowed to go to any sort of dance ever, even if they didn't participate in the dancing. I was once whipped and grounded for three weeks for twirling like a ballerina alone out in the middle of an 80 acre field when I was 10.

You have to get a fake beard - like the fake hair the women use to poof what they have left up or a wig - so people will THINK that they have lots of hair! Its not what it real or true - it is how you are perceived!

Ya, we always got out of square dancing in gym class for "religious reasons". Now I didn't mind getting out of it at the time but even then I saw no point in not being allowed to do it either. It is another of a list of things that I was told "simply IS" and once I was old enough to make my own decisions realized how void of all logic it was.

Re: Dancing: Ever acceptable outside Shockamoo?
In reference to the shockamoo "dancing", has anyone ever saw documentaries on voodoo priestesses that dance when possessed? I saw one several years ago, and was blown away by how similar it was to all the "shouting" I grew up with. I'm sure all the "real apostolics" would say that's because the devil is a great impersonator... but the similarity is definitely creepy.
