I think killing Osama was perhaps more mercy than he deserved. But I rest knowing that Osama is now standing before Christ Jesus receiving perfect, holy, and eternal justice/judgment that he so rightly deserves.
It's sad to see any soul lost.... but it also brings me peace knowing that God will punish such evil men.
Will we as Americans be punished for helping create such a man? Just like we did with Saddam Hussein, we fund, build, and use corrupted leaders, including Osama Bin Laden, to fulfill our cause.
We send these people further into the mold of destruction, while in the corridor of Truth, blood is on our hands.
America hides behind Her Military escapades as being Just, as Hundreds of Thousands of people are slaughtered by our bombs and guns. The False Flag Operation of WMD's in Iraq left innocent, dead people lying in the streets, and where is the Justice?
I credit Obama for continuing the Bush policies of keeping a military presence in the Middle East and not scrubbing the mission to capture Bin Laden.

No one has a problem with Obama getting some credit as it happened under his watch. What we do have a problem with is the not acknowledging that Bush's leadership laid the groundwork to get it done. Everyone - Bush, Obama and military should get equal credit for this job.
The courier they "followed" was identified in 2007 and in 2009 they located where the man operated. The security steps that were taken, didn't allow them to pinpoint the location until August.
I can only surmise that they followed him for some time to gather up more intelligence. It was an ongoing search and Bush should not be excluded in the credit.
I disagree with this.
All tips concerning the whereabouts of bin laden from GWB's days, and his cabinet's days lead to dead ends.
This means that GWB, his people, his policies, failed to deliver bin laden-- dead or alive.
This tip that lead to bin laden's demise originated under Obama. How many years has he been in office already? how many years has Pannetta been where he is-- and was he there before?
He acted upon the intel given to him, garnered by the people that enacted his cabinet's policies, with wisdom and courage.
Leon Pannetta should get credit because of his position.
Of course, thouse who carried out the plan should get the most credit.
But to say that GWB and Obama deserve the same level of credit on this is the same as saying the GWB and Obama deserve the same level of blame for Abu Gharib.
Different Presidents.
Different Cabinets.
Different Times.
Different Strategies.
Different Outcomes.

Cindy, I concur. I was just responding to what was said about what the President said about the war on terror. I say that you can disagree with whatever politician you wish to...there's plenty to disagree with all around. But what shouldn't be happening is making up things or revising history. That just clouds the conversation.
