Re: Deep Apostolic Teachers?
I've been a happy tithe payer/offering giver all of my Christian life.

It surely wouldn't be a hindrance that I made and have kept a financial commitment to God.

The issue here is tithing, it is the #1 thing on the list of what the Lord Jesus hates taught in the churches.
I would not want to be on the tithe teachers side in the days we live in now.
Never underestimate what the Lord is doing. That is the biggest mistake we can make.

I've been vocal in my opposition of tithing. But to say its the #1 thing on the list that the Lord hates? I find that very difficult to believe.

Well bro. we must pick our battles. The Holy Ghost has CLEARLY shown me to stand up to these tithe teachers in the Last Days. I believe it is the biggest thing that sinners observe that is done in Christianity today....badgering for MONEY! ..
Whether its on TV or behind the pulpit of the UPC church. It is wrong. As I have said...it is the greatest stumblingblock that Christianity has set up in these last days. The "world" is not so much concerned about our different beliefs. Most cant tell the difference. But they know if they "get religion", it is gonna cost them at least 10% to join. Bro. thats exactly what happened to me in 1979 and it hasnt changed a bit since. (My pastor said he would not baptize me unless I agreed to pay tithes) Most now will baptize you, then slyly indoctrinate you as you just bask in heavenly bliss.

Re: Deep Apostolic Teachers?
I am really tore up over this I was shook up so bad I dropped a handful of mashed potatoes.
Every preacher who has preached tithing over a 100 has died! That should mean something.
After I paid tithes once I got sick..........after I ate too much ice cream.
One time I was counting tithes and dropped a tithing envelope was that a sign? I just picked it up and kept on counting.
Hell is going to be hot for all these God robbing tight wad spiritual hitch hikers.

Wow, you got all banged up from jump street.
Sean, I'm truly sorry that you got jammed up from day one. But just reconsider your brethren who are collecting tithe money, and those brethren who are more than happy to unmuzzle their oxen. If you believe we are gonna bust hell wide then you pray for us, like we will pray for you.

They hang on to this "dark age" heresy for dear life. What a shame.

Tithers are in the same camp as the Reformers?
You do know that Reformed churches don't teach tithes
And
If not for the Reformers you can forget Methodism, the Holiness movement, the Pentecostal movement, and finally the Oneness Pentecostal movement, right?
