James Cleveland rocks!!! I have some of his old stuff. I love it when he sings "Jesus is the best thing that ever happen to me" with Aretha Franklin.(i think that her) yeah, he was good!

My playlist is all messed up... I've gone from Sheri and Jeff Easter to Ricky Dillard.. From the Crabb family to Casting Crowns to Hezekiah Walker! boy, that would mess up those personality quizes! lol

I have been jumping up and down all week.
I met James Cleveland with my Dad in 1974 in Indianapolis, IN when my dad preached at Bro Urshan's church in Indy.
I went with my dad and we stopped by a church were believe it or not James Cleveland was practicing with a choir.
He was singing that night in a revival service.
It was the coolest thing to meet him.
He shock my hand it melted in his just huge hand...
Oh well back to his music...

Thanks! I enjoyed that... He can really play the piano too! i think that was him.. anyway, I switched over and listened to "I don't feel no ways tired" ... another great song!

My wife thinks I am crazy at the moment. I don't normally listhen to this type of music. I have always loved it.
But now for some reason.
I know there is a reason.
I am playing over and over again 3 songs.
