I am all ears at any thoughts or idea's that will make this place a better place. I am not going to say I will use every idea, but I will definitely listen and consider.

Felicity,
If you are talking about FCF it was a thread about sex. I don't remember the exact thread name, except that it had the word SEX in it. I can't tell you anything about it because I never opened the thread. I'm assuming by the title it share quite a bit more info than the Sexy Hairspray thread ever did.

I know it was closed after quite a few pages.

If it's the one I think Felicity is talking about, it was quite innocent, said whoopie, not sex, and was encouraging married men and women to indulge for the sake of their marriage.

The one on FCF that I read had the word "sex" in it. I distinctly remember that. The reason I remember it is because I saw Brother Tribble posting on it and since I know him I remember thinking that I didn't want to read what he was talking about.

Gone like a freight train
Gone like yesterday
Gone like the soldier
in the Civil War bang bang
Gone like the 59 Cadillac
And all the good things
that ain't ever comin back

Memories, like the corners of my mind
Misty water colored memories
Of the old FCF

Scattered postings,
of the thoughts we've left behind
Times we had to slam each other
On the old FCF

Can it be that it was all so simple then
Or has time rewritten every line

And if we had the chance to post it all again
Tell me, would we, could we

Memories, may be beautiful and yet
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget!

So, it's the laughter
We will remember
Whenever we remember
The old FCF

I was just thinking of folks that I miss:

Tribble, believe it or not.
WWOD
I forget the whole name, but it had Kitty in it.
Tim Landry
Roy Ballard
But the list went on and on of people I miss.
Forever Blessed... At least I don't think I have seen FB on here.
I miss the reposting of Jim's old posts.
I miss Vickie and Tyhuffy
I miss JB, I can't remember his username there.
Dude, if the old FCF were up, and it were still the old FCF, then there wouldn't be an AFF! LOL

Was there more discussion and less whining there? What do you think makes the difference?

  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

I don't see any big difference myself. The feeling of being a little more free in expression. Now that people are used to it, it's no big deal and feels like something has changed.

It feels the same to me.
