Hello! Why do they call that nagging?!!

I'll say, "Could you take out the trash?"

He says, in the most nasal tone he can muster, "Yes, dear."

Like I was telling him what to do!!! Sheesh!!!

We do this at our house too...only we add a sort of a lisp to ours.

It comes out more like, "Yeth, 'near."

I think some of you menfolk are quite strange.

I can't imagine being on a thread about men's dress and commenting about things I know nothing about as if I do.

Honestly, some of you have something wrong upstairs. I'm serious here. I think there are quite a few of you who need to pray and ask God to get your eyes off other women and what they are wearing and how they are wearing it. Some of you men notice more about women's clothing than the women do!

Anyone who has been around here knows that when it comes to women's clothing issues, there are more men commenting on those threads than women. Just look at the latest women's holiness thread!!

Some of you have a problem and need to seek God. Bad.
I'm with you on this one!

Now this is some good preaching!

Yes, he is saying exactly that, God must be insulted by such shallowness.

What man isn't obsessed with feminine beauty?

It's kinda natural - no?

I guess what I was trying to say, but didn't articulate it too well, was that as My husband is an Aspie (has Asperger's syndrom, which is a type of autism for those who don't know), he focuses little on what HE wears, let alone what ever I chose to put on. With the exception of change, which he hates. SO when I change ANYTHING, hair color, length, curly/straight, he HATES it, but after a few days or weeks, he has acclimated, and would hate it just as much if I went back to the original.

The "Christian persuasion" part was to say in addition to that, there is no faith-based determination in our outside appearance.

So I was basically saying, that because of those 2 criteria, that I could in no way relate to what would be "normal" in a marriage between two neurologically normal people who happen to also be Christians.
