The problem is that Tom Joyner's is a comedy show, co-hosted by comedians and unfortunately, Rush is quite serious...as are the people who listen to him when he says these things.
The first line of what you quoted says a lot.
"On the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner radio show, Woods was the butt of jokes all week."
Now, if you will admit that Limbaugh should be taken as a comedy act, I will concede

A black lady I work with was talking about this and asked, "what is it with rich brothers who marry or cheat with white women." She went on to say that she's upset and angry cause she feels black women are overlooked by rich black men.
I told her it's only because they're afraid and can't handle a proud, intelligent, strong woman - so they look for a bimbo they can con. She liked it.

So, I guess Rush's comments are not that far off, huh? Not taking up for him across the board, but on this issue, he is voicing what he is hearing and what you have heard.

"This makes Woods himself one-quarter Chinese, one-quarter Thai, one-quarter African American, one-eighth Native American, and one-eighth Dutch.[14] He refers to his ethnic make-up as “Cablinasian” (a syllabic abbreviation he coined from Caucasian, Black, (American) Indian, and Asian).[15]"
Perhaps he doesn't feel that he has to be with only black women because he's only one-quarter black. It is interesting that even that one-quarter labels him as black.

Renda, you bring up another interesting point that I was going to stay away from. People were acting confused as to why Obama was considered black and Obama himself saw himself as black. I think a situation like Tiger where he tried to say he did not consider himself black shows that we consider people black when their mixed no matter what they claim.

I think they go, solely, on the color of the skin. He is black.
On a related note, I would like to thank Rush Limbaugh for thinking and speaking for me:
If you believe Rush Limbaugh, African-Americans are suffering from a collective malaise brought on by anger at President Obama's economic policies -- and the white women of the Tiger Woods scandal.
On Tuesday's edition of "The Rush Limbaugh Show," the right-wing radio firebrand sounded off on "the black frame of mind" and the disappointment he claims the African-American community feels toward the Obama presidency.
"The black frame of mind is terrible. They're depressed. They're down -- Obama's not doing anything for 'em. How is that hoax and change workin' for ya? They're all livid," Limbaugh said.
Blacks are "upset" and "feel abandoned" by Obama and, he added, "I'm sure Tiger Woods' choice of females [is] not helping 'em out with their attitudes there, either."
Stew, I listened to the clip and I know it is hard to believe but what he said and what he was talking about isn’t exactly what is being reported....
He first played a clip of Jessie Jackson then he pointed to several articles about "black unemployment".
His comments were directed at the liberal elites and their attitude toward black people.
He was not suggesting that all black people have the same frame of mind.
"The black frame of mind is terrible. They're depressed. They're down -- Obama's not doing anything for 'em. How is that hoax and change workin' for ya? They're all livid," Limbaugh said.

Ferd, I hear ya, but I think this speaks for itself...and speaks volumes.
At some point I think people are going to have to recognize that at least some of the criticism leveled at Rush when it comes to matters of race and race-baiting are warranted.

All I am saying is the quote picks up in the middle of a paragraph. One that is taking shots at the liberal elites who use race as a political weapon in general and Jessie Jackson in particular.
When he says that he is projecting their view of this "black frame of mind" not his own.
