If the two brothers came over as late as 2002, that would put their arrival at 8 or 9 years old and 15 or 16 years old-- this is IF they came as late as 2002.

One or both of them may have travelled back to Russia last year, but I stand by my opinion and gut feeling on this.

Their plan was devised and planned here in America, and it was MOST LIKELY not their intent to bomb the Boston Marathon when they arrived to America as 9 and 16 year old boys.

This is domestic terrorism.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev studied at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston and wanted to become an engineer, according to a profile that appeared in a Boston University magazine in 2010. He said that he hoped to become an American citizen and one day join the U.S. Olympic boxing team.

He told the magazine that his family fled Chechnya in the 1990s because of the conflict there, and that he lived in Kazakhstan. While he had been in the United States for several years by that point, he said in the profile: “I don’t have a single American friend. I don’t understand them.”

He also said that he was a Muslim who did not smoke or drink."

A Russian language social networking site bearing Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's name paid tribute to Islamic websites and to those calling for Chechen independence. The author identified himself as a 2011 graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, a public school in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

He said he went to primary school in Makhachkala, capital of Dagestan, a province in Russia that borders on Chechnya, and listed his languages as English, Russian and Chechen.

His "World view" was listed as "Islam" and his "Personal priority" as "career and money."

He posted links to videos of fighters in the Syrian civil war and to Islamic web pages with titles such as "Salamworld, my religion is Islam" and "There is no God but Allah, let that ring out in our hearts."

He also had links to pages calling for independence for Chechnya, a region of Russia that lost its bid for independence after two wars in the 1990s."

The reason: street cameras.

Without that video footage, who knows when or if the alleged Chechen terrorists would have been caught. Who knows if they would have struck again before being taken down.
