I have seen what pigs lie in. Our neighbors have one. It is gross and disgusting to see them wallow in their own ick.

Chickens are disgusting filthy birds which will eat anything (and I do mean anything) also they smell really bad, especially when they get wet. My point is this, while pigs are dirty they are animals, and like the chicken which we also love to eat they are just as filthy. We who take care of livestock, must make sure they have a happy clean life as best as we can provide. Eat chicken, wrapped in bacon and just listen to that pork sing in the pan.

Our country was built on that diet, then they decided to convince us into eating more and more grains, plants, corn oil, and tons of starch.

So I've finished reading the book "Wheat Belly". EB - is this the book you read that convinced you wheat was bad?

Re: Facts, Lies or Truth About Healthy Living?
So... I've been doing a lot of reading about Weston Price, and am in the process of reading "Nourishing Traditions" by Sally Fallon. I also just finished reading "Wheat Belly".
Now, I'm in a conundrum. Who do I believe? Two very convincing books with opposing ideas/arguments. Wheat Belly says no wheat or grain of any kind. Nourishing Traditions says wheat is fine if it is used in sourdough, fermented, or soaked.
Any opinions out there?

I grilled steaks yesterday for Sunday dinner, served with garlic cheese potatoes, fried homegrown cabbage, and homegrown green beans, a side of sourdough bread with fresh butter, and topped off the meal with homemade ice cream
