About how many services did your father attend? Less than 5, more than 10?

My father heard him quite a few times over a period of years. The number I'm not sure of. But knowing my father, he was generally not one to rush to an opinion. The death of the man in his church was the proverbial final straw....

BT, we don't have to meet the man to make accurate opinions of him. There are his many sermons, writings, videos, and eyewitnesses.

Granted! And I'm not trying to uphold William Branham. Met him one time, saw him in service twice.
I don't know you ReformedDave, but I am assuming that by your name you have done some reforming in your time. Did you ever preach anything that you later decided was in error? I certainly have and am not proud of it! But, I'm so glad God was my judge and not man!
So I guess what I'm saying is, I choose not to criticize and help destroy the reputation of William Branham. I'm just gonna leave him in the hands of a just God, knowing God will get it right and I very well could get it wrong. And by the way, I would do the same for you if I heard bad rumors about you. Oh, and by the way, I heard........ just kidding! God's blessing on you and yours.

It does seem that his life was one of continuing contradictions and his teachings became worse over time.
There are many things I believed that were in error and I was and am in need of reforming. The direction of one's reformation speaks loads.

Some times reforming sure hurts.... but feels so good after you've done it, and you know you're right. I left the organization I was in, my family, my friends and simply began to search the scriptures and thus determine what did "I believe!" not what someone told me to believe. It was a great feeling when I decided to let the Bible simply say what ever it was saying and not to look at it through eyes that were trying to back up what I believe or what the organization believed.
And my greatest concern is I may still be wrong about some things. Am I honest enough to change again? I hope so!
There are some who seem to think that they are 100% right in everything they say and everything they believe and there ain't no way they're wrong or are gonna change! I hope they're right!

But yet you implied God used Him when I noted that God can use such folks, even wolves in sheep's clothing.

Did not mean to imply that. My only point is that even if a person is used by God that doesn't validate their life or "ministry".

But does it not mean what part is used of God is meant to be received by us?

Re: An Interview with William Branham...interestin
I personally know of a man that was healed of MS in one of his services. He doesn't agree wtih his doctrines he taught but he identifies the healing power of God
