Why should this matter? You must think I go to a dead dried up old fashioned church.

I don't...I'm just wondering how many people there are that you know for a FACT don't watch TV and do control the internet in your church...

Most UCs I know may not own a tv...but they watch it at grandma's and the hotel room....

Because of my screenname I assume that most everybody thinks that at church the pastor is up there pointing his finger and saying you can't do this, or this, or this. But the fact is we teach strongly about the effects of the world in the church. Our people don't not watch TV because we tell them not to, they do it because they have an understanding that it is bad for them. I feel the same way about every holiness issue. Nothing we preach from behind the pulpit comes without a reason. They don't have holiness becuase their pastor makes them do it, they have it because it's in their heart.

The first post bolded is why it matters to me...it is emphatically stated, "Our people dont......." How many people don't?

I'll say this about our church. I've only been here for 6 months. My pastor has been here for 3 1/2 years. Since that time the church has grown 400%. We've baptized over 100 people in just a few short months. This past Sunday we over 20 visitors. The church right now has at 20 more members (ones that are in church) than it did when I gor here. Please don't take this as bragging because i'm not trying to, i'm just saying we are having great revival.

Why are you afraid to put a number on it? Is it 400? Is it 200? Is it 100? Is it 500?....

You post as though everyone in your church follows the holiness letter to a tee EVEN in private and on vacation and at unsaved momma's house on thanksgiving day....so how many are there that do this?
