I could have used them this morning.
When I was out for a ride, the temperature was 48F (Wind chill factor of 21F @ 55mph).
We're used to the cold in Canada, but for awhile I thought I was going to have to go back home and put on long pants and an apostolic shirt.

Can you believe someone is bidding $51 on those gloves???? Of course they are about $90 new, but these are not new. He only wore them a few times, but still.......I'm just thankful to the Lord for Ebay!

My last ride for '06 was in early December, and my first ride for '07 was in mid April. The December ride was at about 40F, and I can testify tonight that 40F is just too cold to ride a motorcycle.
It's hard to get out very early in the Spring here because they put traction sand on the road in the slippery weather, and it's no fun at all to ride on cold asphalt that has a layer of sand on it.
Good luck with the eBay auctions.

I was trying to figure out what I'm going to do with all this money, and my husband just said that we should probably put it on our building fund pledge. I'm sure he's right. Does he have to be so spiritual?????

I am so happy for you sis...and I know now too when I want to sell any of my gear I can get a good price for it...
One of our local stores had a sale today and we both got heavy duty vented jackets...got such a great deal. Now we can ride on chilly days and warm days and still have armour....
Well we are off for the evening....gonna play pool and have fellowship with our friends...I hope you all have a great evening...

This has definitely made me a firm believer in Ebay! I don't think I'll ever have another yard sale. The Paypal payments are already rolling in.

Wow! I don't ride when it is below 50 degrees because at 60 mph it gets down to about freezing.
I have not ridden much this summer for various reasons. I hope to ride tomorrow after church with my son who is visiting. I have a feeling he might get sidetracked though since he has so many friends to see and he has to leave on Monday.
