To me it's just another way of "having church."

What's wrong with having a cafe or a tube house in the church building? Shouldn't church be a place where families can assemble?

None of the things you mentioned are sinful, and most likely people are going to find these things somewhere - why not the church?

Churches are suppose to be sacred places, spiritual centers that we reverance. Jesus said my house shall be called a house of prayer.

If I want entertainment, I can go to disney. If I want coffee, there are plenty of starbucks on the way to church.

While I don't think it's wrong to provide fellowship, or have those things, I just think that often churches have to resort to trickery and gimmicks to get people to come because they lack the anointing that is SUPPOSE to draw men to christ.

I actually mentioned to my pastor that we should have drive-in services in our new church building. I think it would be great if folks driving by in their car who were curious could just drive in and observe from their cars what is going on. Also, you could transmit a low level signal so that they could tune their radio to the churches service.

There are some churches that do that. The AOG here did a service that way this month. But I think it was a special program.

So He threw them out for over charging for an item that was necessary in the tabernacle. And you don't think He would throw them out for selling things that are not neccessary ?
