Don't you miss the days of Pres. BC?

I watched this video clip tonight, for the first time. I bet there hasn't been a feeling like that in any inauguration ceremonies since.

Bill looks to be completely into it and at the end looks to be wiping away tears.

I saw this video for the first time just now & agree that MM & the POA did an excellent job.
I think it is telling though, of how fine Christian the Mangun's are, it still isn't enough to
persuade the Clinton's too become Apostolics!

Just like Felix, "Almost thou persuadest me..."

Sad!

You haven't read Bill Clinton's book have you? There's a lot to his spirituality. He isn't easily labeled. However, in regards to the Holy Ghost experience, it's been said that he's been seen rather "emotional" when in prayer.

When Chelsea was going to college and Hillary needed some parental advice, she called Sis. Mangun to talk to her. When Clinton's affair was exposed he called the Manguns and they came to the White House to pray with him. It was there that Sis. Mangun sang "I Have Been Redeemed" in a private session with the Clintons.

I tried, begged, and pleaded for every Apostolic I knew to pray for him instead of belittle, attack, and speak hate against him. But to no avail... I don't blame him for not wearing the label "Apostolic" based on how we treated and talked about him in the Conservative media and in our churches. But, on the Spiritual side... the man was the closest to being an "Apostolic" President than any we've had.

I've always admired Anthony Mangun. There are few preachers that I've heard that preach consistently with the type of burden and passion that he preaches the Gospel with.

I gained even more respect though, when I read Bill Clinton's book. This is an excerpt from "My Life" by Bill Clinton.

" During my second term, when the Republicans were trying to run me out of town and a lot of the pundits were saying I was dead meat, Anthony Mangun called me and asked if he and Mickey could come see me for twenty minutes. I said, "Twenty minutes? You're going to fly all the way up here for twenty minutes?" He replied, "You're busy. That's all it'll take." I told him to come on up. A few days later, Anthony and Mickey sat alone with me in the Oval Office. He said, "You did a bad thing but you're not a bad man. We raised our children together. I know your heart. Don't give up on yourself. And if you're going down, and the rats start to leave the sinking ship, call me. I rode up with you, and I want to go down with you." Then we prayed together and Mickey gave me a tape of a beautiful song she ahd written to shore me up. It was entitled "Redeemed." After twenty minutes, they got up and flew home. "

Are you being serious? Surely you're not?

If so, I would commend the calling of Matthew to your reading. You can find that in Matthew 9:9-13.

And we wonder why we don't reach a dying world? Geeshhh...

I haven't read it & won't read it!
I like to see "fruit" & he ain't got the nickname slick willy for nothing!

All power to the Manguns for trying to minister to him/them.

I don't trust the Clinton's & thier could be a book written about all thier doings & philosophies--none of it good.

I do pray for him.
