Not everybody is going to agree on every little thing, but you are describing BIG things, (women wearing Jewelry, pants, make-up etc.) these are the things that describe the Harlot in Revelation, she didn't look anything like the bride.
I want somebody to teach and preach their conviction to me so that I can be saved.
Maybe that is not welcomed here because most everybody is un-secure in their salvation to start with and want to attack someone that has strong beliefs.
It only takes me a few posts to be called a moron and a pharisee by those who claim that they have such a beautiful heart.

What if my conviction is to not go to the supermarket on a Wed because that is a church day? What if it was preached for all its worth?

We also have a problem when folks refuse to dress holy.
It takes both. You can't get away from it.
If you don't want to dress holy, you likely have an unholy heart.

You might get away with saying a queen dresses differently or a dike (parden me folks)...but not every gay person is a queen or a dike and even then its more about their behavior than how they dress.
Most lesbians and homosexual men dress like every other heterosexual.

- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

This is the obvious (to most) thing that jumped out at me but apparently not for him. The distressing thing is that it probably takes 10-20 Christians like SisAlvear to undo the damage that 1 so-called Christian like Narrow causes. The slightly silver lining is that he is probably so sheltered and "separate from the world" that he has limited contact (we can hope).

Re: The "dress code" is essential...
I wonder how many of those that don't wear jewelry on their fingers, wrists, and around their necks? But do wear very expensive clothes of the latest fashion, high priced shoes, hair jewelry, etc?

By your own admission, you are not allowed to use the OT for tithes, niether are you allowed to use the OT for clothing and jewelry. The new Testament church was probably poor so they could not afford jewels silly.

Probably not, but his post was just pure ignorance and I am sick of the damage that these people are doing in the name of Christendom. Granted, he probably considers "Christian" to be a trinitarian term.

Re: The "dress code" is essential...
It's almost 1:00am and I just wanted to say (without reading through everyting else) that too often, people forget the power associated with living a life of consecration for the sake of a closer walk with the Lord.
Salvation is not in the water, neither is it in our shirts and skirts. It's the heart behind the acti and consecration that shows our salvation and enhances our contributions to the Body of Christ.
