I'm not sure, to be honest! My father was very strong against TV while I was growing up, but mellowed a little when he got older.
Us kids bought him a TV which had a VHS built-in for his last years before he died. It was NEVER hooked up to an antenna and only used to watch mostly preaching and Bill Gaither reunion videos. He also loved old "Andy Griffen Show" videos.
As I mentioned, he loved to watch preaching videos, and I can only imagine that he would have loved for the Apostolic message to have been out there for the whole world to see!

 GASP....It's Andy Griffith. Didn't you hear about churches here in TN who are actually using the old Andy Griffith shows to teach their Wednesday night Bible studies?

my endorsement will not win you any points with some here, but thank you for your posts on this thread, and your attitude in them.
As for eb, you are right. His posts still reek of arrogant elitism, and patronization, as evidenced by him using phrases like "young man" and "my boy".
So much has happened, and nothing has changed.

Would you care to tell me what church in TN that shows 1960 television sitcoms to teach the Bible? What was the news station called, where in TN?
