Oh the power I apparently have over some.... I could probably post "I had dinner tonight...." -just that, and philjones would puff up and say some random comment about "liberated" liberals who "feel" they can flaunt their liberties liberally and lavishly. And then would proceed to be awake half the night no doubt hyperventilating in the lavatory.
I feel the Phantom of the Opera theme coming on!

Your getting closer... keep working at it and you will almost have me figured out!
You really should take the chain off you collar before you post here. It be much more difficult to yank!
the reality is that you consistently make the most boneheaded comments and are the easiest to pick on!

Why in heavens name does a woman with uncut long hair, no makeup, dress below her knees, etc look like she is worshipping God any more than a woman with cut hair, makeup, and pants on? The answer is that they don't anywhere except in your mind.

I don't worry about PROTECTING my holiness (if I had any to protect). Thats not my job. Thats His job I have committed my heart, my life and my soul who is able to keep it. He is quite capable. My job is to live so that His Holiness can be PROJECTED thru me.

I think you misinterpreted my post, I meant the outward standards are akin to the washing and waxing of a car.
When I was a young man, I bought a 1975 Cutlass Supreme, beautiful metallic blue, with white vinyl top, white leather interior, mag wheels, etc. It was a beautiful car. But, I couldn't keep it running. So, more often than not, it sat in the driveway, looking beautiful, but going nowhere.
Then, a few years ago, I purchased a 1982 Mazda GLC just to go back and forth to work. It was rusted, sun roof had to be taped shut, interior was ripped, but it ran like crazy! It got me thru the winter while I stored one of my other hot rods.
My point is, sometimes cars don't look good on the outside, but they get you from point A to point B.
And, sometimes, cars are beautiful on the outside, but sit in a driveway, absolutely useless.
The only point I'm trying to make is that if we spend all of our time on the outside(dress), neglecting the inside(heart), it makes for a bunch of people who look really good, but sit on a church pew going absolutely nowhere.
Now, before I get the glut of emails protesting, I AM NOT REFERRING TO EVERYONE!
Just some that I've met..........

I do hope we only reflect HIS image that is pure and holy.
