Eddie and I left the hospital about an hour ago and she is doing FANTASTIC!!! Also, I talked to one of our pastors who was with Jon Moraga (Tamor's hubby) and he did great, as well. God is good!
Renda is laughing and talking and feels and looks really good (as good as you can look in one of those lovely gowns!). I got to see her dad again, after about thirty years. When she gets back from Arkansas, I'm going to go stay with her a few days and try to help her out.
She is anxiously looking forward to once again wearing those spike heels! Pray, saints, pray!!!!
WHOO HOOOO!!! So glad to hear she's doing well! Thank God!
I hope she goes out an buys a nice shiny RED pair of heels!!!

Wonderful for Tamor's hubby and Rendanator!!!!!
I'll send someone by to hot glue some lace on that nappy looking gown.
Renda, keep that thang tied, especially when they walk you down the hall in a few days!!! We have a nurse, on call, with a digital camera - girl!!!! Of course, we had to bribe her, but you know how money works!!!!
We're part of the family,
That's been born again
Part of the fam'ly
Whose love knows no end
For Jesus has saved us
And made us His own
Now we're part of the fam'ly
That's on its way home
Chorus
And sometimes we laugh together
Sometimes we cry
Sometimes we share together
Heartaches and sighs
Sometimes we dream together
Of how it will be
When we all get to Heaven
God's family
Verse 2
When a brother/sister meets difficulty,
We all feel his grief
When he's passed through the valley
We all feel relief
Together in sunshine together in rain
Together in vict'ry through His precious name

Reposting from Dora's Thread...Great news, Sis. C...please send my love to Renda and Tam...
This is Geron, Renda's son. Sorry for not getting on here yesterday to type something, but I stayed at the hospital most of yesterday, but had to go to work for some quick meetings and then back. I've seen where a couple of you have talked to her. I got off the phone with her a little while ago, so here is the latest.
She said she slept pretty good last night. Of course, she woke up everytime someone came in, but for the most part felt pretty good after last night. She didn't take any pain killer medication last night and she felt fine. She did say she was going to take some today because they are starting the P.T. part today, so they will start working her knee. If i'm not mistaken, she gets on the knee bending machine starting today also. Just pray that the therapy part is harmless and that she will continue to have good spirits. I'll do my absolute best to update everyone with what is going on. I do know she will be in there for about 5 days. She is certainly not looking forward to that.
More coming soon.....
Geron

Just got off the phone with her again. She had already done some P.T. They stood her up and she was able to put some weight on her leg, which they said she did great. They also had her bending her knee in the bed a little bit along with some other positions. She didn't get dizzy after this which is a WONDERFUL thing, but she did feel a little bit bad and therefore she didn't eat breakfast. So I guess the prayer from today would be that when she does her exercises that she can do them without being dizzy or getting sick afterwords.
The knee bending machine is in the room and they will be starting that this morning.
More coming......
