How do we know you haven't taken over someone else's identity? I think you should post a copy of your birth certificate to prove you really are who you say you are. If you don't, we will start numerous threads to hound you.

Seriously AG, I think that what people are forgetting is ADMIN may be privy to details that they are not willing to share. They have always shown themselves to be fair, why not give them the benefit of the doubt?

While this forum has basically an open door policy it is still a private forum, no one is forced to stay and when an individual, in the opinion of Administration, has become such a disruption they have a right to handle it as they see fit.

In the present case, no one is being forced to leave, they are being requested to stop propagating a lie and so we can all move on.

I can also understand in this particular case the ones most adamant about getting to the truth were alumi of the institution he claimed to graduate from and felt THEIR hard work being cheapened.

Joking is NOT allowed on AFF...

UNLESS you're making fun of a conservative Pentecostal, then it's OK.

Re: Blessings to all

I don't believe nor not believe DV. Personally I don't care because in my opinion and my experience with dialoging with DV his credentials don't mean squat nor do they make him right. I don't mean that in a mean way.

However someone putting their credentials in their user name on a forum should realize from the get go what sort of pitfalls that is going to raise and if they are going to claim to be a Dr they should also be ready to confirm it. There are a lot of impersonators on the internet and in real life. If it is going to be a part of your online persona then I think he should be able to confirm it. If it is NOT a part of his persona but it just gets mentioned in casual conversation, like someone asking about him or getting to know him better, then personally it's really none of their business.

But when it becomes a claim on the board, as we saw 1Cor did with degrees and three different universities then people have a right to test if you are just pulling everyone's leg or lying about it

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
