They are using spray food coloring. So, what I would suggest, since you are artistic, is to make a template to save you some money and then get any local business that bakes cookies to set you a price. It's just way too cool. Your cake decorator could probably do it.



This website is not a tutorial for the ant cookies, only the gingham, but they would get the idea. I understand the ant track marks were made with an edible ink pen.
