Have you ever seen the Alba Bible?

Nope...says "son of the dawn"
Isaiah 14:12New International Version (NIV)
12 How you have fallen from heaven,
morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!
Lucifer is a BAD translation. Lucifer is a latin word, not Hebrew. The Hebrew word is Halel which means shining
†הֵילֵל S1966 TWOT499a GK2122 n.m. appell. shining one, epith. of king of Babylon, אֵיךְ נָפַלְתָּ מִשָּׁמַיִם ה׳ בֶּן־שָׁ֑חַר Is 14:12 how art thou fallen, shining one, son of dawn! i.e. star of the morning. Re: What's with all the new Bible versions?
2nd Peter 1:19 Latin Vulgate
et habemus firmiorem propheticum sermonem cui bene facitis adtendentes quasi lucernae lucenti in caliginoso loco donec dies inlucescat et lucifer oriatur in cordibus vestris
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: KJV
Now, if lucifer was indeed only a name for Satan, wouldn't Jerome chose another Latin term, instead of using lucifer "day star" oriatur "rise"?

Re: What's with all the new Bible versions?
LUCIFER (Lat.‘light-bearer’). This was the Lat.name for the planet Venus, the brightest object in the sky apart from the sun and moon, appearing sometimes as the evening, sometimes as the morning, star. In Is. 14:12 it is the translation of hēlēl (‘shining one’: LXX heōsphoros, ‘light-bearer’; cf. the Arabic for Venus, zuhratun, ‘the bright shining one’), and is applied tauntingly as a title for the king of Babylon, who in his glory and pomp had set himself among the gods. This name is appropriate, as the civilization of Babylon began in the grey dawn of history, and had strong astrological connections. Babylonians and Assyrians personified the morning star as Belit and Ištar. Some have considered that the phrase ‘son of the morning’ might refer to the crescent moon; cf. Gray in ICC, ad loc.; others (e.g. S. H. Langdon, ExpT 42, 1930–1, pp. 172ff.) argue for an identification with the planet Jupiter. The similarity of the description here with that of such passages as Lk. 10:18 and Rev. 9:1 (cf. 12:9) has led to the application of the title to Satan. The true claimant to this title is shown in Rev. 22:16 to be the Lord Jesus Christ in his ascended glory

Amazing when one picks up a dictionary.
But I guess the dictionary is part of the New Age conspiracy.

Re: What's with all the new Bible versions?
This is why I don't watch these stupid videos. Lots of people watch them but never just study stuff on their own
