Goood Mondddaaaay Mornnnniiinng Ladies!

It is still morning on the wet coast.
We had a wind & rain storm last night, wind is still blowing.
Woke up a few times to "things" being blown past our bedroom window!

Been spending time with the kids this morning & will spend some more time later on this afternoon as a family.

Good afternoon everyone.....

It was a busy weekend here too, as always.

I've barely taken time to sit down at the computer and peek in a few times today. I'm busy trying to get everything ready for the family to go to ALJC Youth Convention in Nashville next week. I figured just maybe if I started early this week it might be less stressful. Wrong. It's still stressful.

I walked into the girls room this morning about 8am to wake them up and it was a disaster. I informed them this morning that if they didn't get their act together and get their room cleaned up again and keep their room cleaned this week (Remember last week I went and made them clean it up) that they would be sitting at their grandparents house next week while their dad, their brother and myself enjoyed a trip to youth convention.

They have both been mad at me ever since.

They haven't done a thing in their room.

I think that they think I'm bluffing.

Guess what? I'm not bluffing. I may have to make believers out of them.

They are not waiting till the last day and then cleaning the mess up and getting to go.

I didn't spend 6 hours of that day last week for them to not keep it clean in there.

Oh boy.....does this mean it never ends??? LoL! We constantly have to go in and clean Jasmine's room, she hates to pick up - and now with Ariel crawling and sharing a room with her we have to realllly stay on top of keeping all her petshops & polly pocket stuff picked up.

How comes everytime the weather changes I get a nasty cold and sore throat??? I have never been so sick in my life until I started working where I currently work - I interact with the public alllllll day long and boy do I get their germs quickly! I even keep hand cleaner stuff on my desk and I use it often, but apparently not often enough. I feel really really really bad today but I am getting trained on something new this week and I am off on Friday so I didn't feel right about calling in. So, I am here feeling horrible.....hopefully as the day goes on I will start to feel better.

Honestly, I think it must never end... my girls are 18 & 14. They still hate cleaning their room. lol

I'm sorry I don't come around more often, but honestly, I don't have much to add to any of the conversations. Most of what I have to say isn't very positive or uplifting, and there is only so much call for sarcastic, sniping comments (not to mention that I can only get away with so much )
