The apostles used the Septuagint. You use the Jewish Masoretic text. Today, the only Bibles in the English language that use the Septuagint are the Roman Catholic Bibles.
That's the reason the RCC (and the Eastern Orthodox churches) uses the Septuagint - they claim to be "Apostolic."
If you want to be "Apostolic" why don't you use the same Bible as the original Apostles? Why? Because the Reformers didn't want to use the same Bible as the RCC.
And so we have a very powerful tradition that seperates us from the 1st century church. A tradition that we will never overcome and become more "Apostolic."
And what's "tongue talking" got to do with fishing? Are you saying that he somehow gave up the culture in which he was raised? There were no women around out on the boat so "naked" meant that you didn't get your clothes smelly - it was just practical. And besides, even in his "fisher's coat" that he put on to be with Jesus, he would have fallen well short of of our holiness standards. And what about the beards that everyone wore?
