and yes Jeanie, there is a time to sit down, shut up and learn the word but you and i both know that many pastors would give their right arm to have some zealous onfire new converts who don't care what the world thinks about the radical praise they render as opposed to some old sour saints who have not moved out in worship since the 50s
I'm not putting it down either...there just needs to be balance in all things.

I don't have all the answers, son...

nevermind, I know what you are saying, I still believe it is a heart issue.

I really hate it when I see people blankly staring during worship time but still I know it's an heart issue.

Well, we are kinda hijacking this thread, but really, Thad...everything we do is in the flesh.

I have not been glorified yet, hon, so when I clap my hands I do so because I want to. God doesn't take my hands and clap them for me.

Now, while I am doing so, sure I feel the unction, but that is not always my reason for clapping.

The Scripture says to clap our hands unto the Lord, so I sing and clap and it's all worship.

If demonstrative worship is a learned behavior, I am in favour of Thad launching a new career that sees him travelling throughout North America with his Hammond in tow to teach folks this behavior. I can get him started with a rather long list of churches needing to learn how to be more responsive in worship.
