Anyway, the company is Westathome, is anyone familiar with it? I will be taking customer service calls for HSN to start out with.
Well, just wanted to share my news!

I've done work for them in the past. It's fairly easy work, you can have work when YOU want to work-- as long as you stay active in the program. I gave it up because my house just wasn't quiet enough to do the work unless I wanted to stay up from midnight till 5am or so to do the work. I just went back to selling on ebay and taking on more paid surveys. I've recently found a couple of legitimate companies for the mystery shopping type thing. I just choose jobs on days when I plan on doing my normal shopping-- and do the mystery shops first. It's not a lot of money, but at the very least if I pick up one or two mystery shops- it will cover the cost of my gas to take care of my own personal shopping.
If you're interested in those, I can send you the info by PM and let you check out the sites.

Hi Everyone!
I'm so glad that the Thanksgiving weekend is over. And I'm soooo looking forward to December being done. Is that awful of me? There's just so much stuff going on at holiday time. It's exhausting.
Tina, I would be very interested in more information on this mystery shopping information. Would you share it with me, please?
Amazing Grace, you have my word - I am praying for you!! How old is your son?

Good morning all....
Margie...don't make work for yourself girl...enjoy the season! I love the atomosphere of the holidays....we don't put up a tree anymore or decorate, because we don't have any little ones around...as a matter of fact we are going to sell a lot of our Christmas stuff in a garage sale! I know you still have younger kids...but try to cut back on what you do...so its a good time for you too!
AG...I am glad to hear your going to let it go! Sometimes that is all we can do ...really it is all we can do because God is in charge anyway. If we do right when they are little at some point they come back to it...the teen years can be terrible I know...
Brother Ron....good morning....how are you all doing...Happy birthday to the little one!
QE...we did go out on Friday in the afternoon...hahaha...we needed a new printer badly, I wore my old one out! We just took our time, and enjoyed our selvs...didn't fight the crowds or stess over anything! There was no way I would get up at 3 in the morning for any of that...not even if it was free, to get among those crazy people! NO WAY!
My hubby is still laid off, so we are going to work on a garage sale. Also working on the outside of our house getting it cleaned up...its sooooo cold outside today...I will be sweatin anyway once we get busy!
Tina if you could clue me in on some of that stuff it would be great...I would like to have a few things I could do here at home to just make a few extra dollars...I know my sis would like to too! PM with all the info on what you have done and where you find the good info! Thanks in advance.
CM...how is it going with your new job there...the info you gave me didn't work when I searced...I hope its helping you all out. How is the man of the house doing, and the boys!
Well all I hope your day is so wonderful and you have peace and joy and the blessings of the season! Winter is a wonderful time of the year!

I'm glad you had a nice time shopping!
BTW, I learned that my Aunt & Uncle are moving to Portland, Oregon - I wasn't sure what area until the other day my grandma was talking about it again. I guess right now they are hunting for jobs there and once they find something they are going to move. They have really good paying jobs now in New York so I'm not sure how long it will take them. They are just tired of living in the fast paced, high stressed life of NYC. They want something more laid back.

My husband is not working still and he's willing to help me with our youngest who is not school age yet. My husband really wants to evangelize and has a few meetings set already...I think this could be a good combination for us. We won't know until we try it.
I have tried Mystery shopping while I was in Oregon and there was hardly anything available. What was available was mostly out of town...and with gas prices the way they are...well, it's just not always worth the time and hassle as the ones I was offered paid very little. Not only that, but I don't enjoy shopping. I can see how it would be a great job for many though and am so glad you brought it up!
