I posted that last post as I was heading out the door for lunch. Jasmine loves Hannah Montana which is really a show for older kids but I have watched it with her lots of times and I think it is better than some of the shows on tv that are aimed at her age group so I let her watch it. She loooooves girlie stuff and music. She has a Hannah Montana toothbrush that plays music while she brushes and she keeps saying that all she wants for Christmas is a guitar like Hannah Montana. My neice is getting the "real" Hannah Montana guitar but she is almost 11 and I know Jasmine will love it to get one like her cousin although hers is the toy version. We are not getting them alot and I wanted to get good gifts for her and Ariel, not a bunch of cheap junk. She gets enough "junk" from everyone else! We still have a few more things to get for her even though it will only be a handful of presents (plus a stocking ful) I think she is going to love everything we are getting her and believe me with all the family we have she will get loooottts of presents!

I know the feeling of never having time to clean the house. I highly recommend having someone come in and clean your house if you can afford it. I did this while I worked and there is no better feeling coming home to a clean , freshly smelling house after a day at work. It just lifts your spirits or at least it did mine. Good luck on the presents QE! Sounds like you are having success.

I would love to have someone come and clean my house....but that is too expensive for me...and I am not working outside the home so I have no excuse for not having a clean house, except I am not wanting to do it.....

It is dark and cold and the sunshine is far away...but the excitement of the say prevails....

I think I am getting the holiday spirit....

Gonna grab some goodies and head down south to my sis's and watch the civil war game today on one of them evil TV's...eat a lot of food, and have great fellowship!

Hello all of Gabbys

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. My hubby finally gets to come home today!!!!!! We are having another Thanksgiving dinner (the big one with all the family) today and I am so glad! Then we are going to Firewheel for fireworks and a nice lil carriage ride.. I am so glad he is finally on his way home.

Havent been around a lot.. a few things I dont understand right now about Gabbys in general and the whole forum... Like why we are told this is an apostolic forum and that we arent to tear down the apostolic faith yet this seems to be being done a lot by certain posters and allowed.. So just kind of watching from a distance right now. But want all my Gabbys friends to know that I love them and do indeed wish you a Wonderful Holiday Season!

PS I know that Gabbys is not for serious discussion and therefore I am ended this as of here but just had to voice it somewhere! There I am done... back to your regularly scheduled gabbys thread!

I think the forum could be better name..."The Christians who love God"....one of the things I like about this forum is that there are several people like me who no longer belong to the UPC...but never stopped loving God or the people of God, just not that church....and thankfully we are allowed to express ourselves most of the time, I think most try to keep it factual, and without malice...there now I have put my 2cents in too...lol

Had a wonderful day in Eugene with my sis, and her hubby, and mine too of course...the game was great and the Beavers beat the Ducks...it was a good game...I am not a big football fan, but enjoy watching with others and rooting for our team...Beavers of course....

You are correct and I have nothing against people who even leave the upc. Its just a name and that name wont be in Heaven!!!! Its Christians.. Its the leaving all of Christiandome (yep thats another one of my new words lately thats not a word but yea you know!) and boasting about it and expecting everyone to just go along with it! This is an apostolic/Christian forum not an athiest one! Now I am absolutely done with my 2 cents worth and I will not discuss it any further on this thread.. I just wanted you STS to KNOW I was NOT talking about you and that I do love and respect you dearly and this is in no way aimed at you.. its just a general attitude I have seen on the forum lately and tired of it!

Sis be careful high blood pressure is not good ....and yes Gabby's is where we come for fellowship, but if there really is something that is hurting you or making you upset then its a safe place to say it...at least I hope so...

I so appreciate your spirit sister you have had a very very difficult year which I really know not a lot about, but you keep on and keep on and love God....

I heard someone say"why is it do we cry out when things are bad; why me Lord; but we forget to say it when things are going well." I have not heard you once blame God at least not here, as I said you have just kept your faith and kept going forward....

I know sometimes things go on here on the forum that can hurt, can even discourage...but you have to give room to peoples personal circumstance and we really don't know what is going on in their lives...this forum is a place for many diverse people and some of them have pretty ugly spirits, but I have found that ugly often comes from pain....the way I solve my problem on here with people, because there are a few that really get to me, I just ignore them, or pray for them, or try to take what I read with a grain of salt...
