You have to pile it up and let it stink and rot for a while. Depending on the size of the manure pile it could take a few years. It's the old and well rotted manure that your soil needs. To "fresh" stuff is often too "hot" - too much nitrogen and a lot of times sulphur.
That's why a lot of guys mix straw with their corral's compost. It soaks up the nitrogen.
Hmmm - is it ironic that this thread has turned into talking about rotten manure - LOL
(2 Kings 6:25) has been generally understood literally. There are instances in history of the dung of pigeons being actually used as food during a famine. Compare also the language of Rabshakeh to the Jews (2 Kings 18:27; Isa. 36:12). This name, however, is applied by the Arabs to different vegetable substances, and there is room for the opinion of those who think that some such substance is here referred to, as, e.g., the seeds of a kind of millet, or a very inferior kind of pulse, or the root of the ornithogalum, i.e., bird-milk, the star-of-Bethlehem.
In the Apocryphal Book of Tobit, the prophet Tobit suffers an unfortunate incident in which he is blinded by dove's dung (some translate "sparrow" here) falling into his eyes. The cure ends up being to have his son marry the women who had already had seven husbands but had all died.
there are hurts on both sides...we are all humans...some pastor´s make terrible mistakes trying to lord over people but on the other hand I Have seen good pastors destroyed by wolves in sheep´s clothing...
and there are 2 sides to every story...few men judge according to the Bible...they defend friends...

I dont know a pastor who has not been butchered by the sheep he is trying to sheppard. Not a single one.
It doesn't only destroy the reputation of the Pastor, but the whole family is harmed. Why do we never hear of this, but only how someone has been hurt by the pastor. The Pastor's family lives in a glass house.

The very good ministers in the day had wives that kept their minister husband's in check. Today it appears to me that many more ministers have actions, that their wives are afraid or just plain blind to say anything, to their husbands.
My mom would have taken my dad to task, if he were to have said or done some of the things said and done today.
Bring back the stong ministers wives... Please God!
