That's why a lot of guys mix straw with their corral's compost. It soaks up the nitrogen.
Hmmm - is it ironic that this thread has turned into talking about rotten manure - LOL

Compare also the language of Rabshakeh to the Jews (2 Kings 18:27; Isa. 36:12). This name, however, is applied by the Arabs to different vegetable substances, and there is room for the opinion of those who think that some such substance is here referred to, as, e.g., the seeds of a kind of millet, or a very inferior kind of pulse, or the root of the ornithogalum, i.e., bird-milk, the star-of-Bethlehem.
In the Apocryphal Book of Tobit, the prophet Tobit suffers an unfortunate incident in which he is blinded by dove's dung (some translate "sparrow" here) falling into his eyes. The cure ends up being to have his son marry the women who had already had seven husbands but had all died.

This makes sense when you think about it.

I am sorry for your frustration and hurt. I wil pray for you as I know just how you feel.

Blessings, Rhoni
Unfortunately too many pastors are butchering the sheep instead of helping the hurt and damaged ones.

there are hurts on both sides...we are all humans...some pastor´s make terrible mistakes trying to lord over people but on the other hand I Have seen good pastors destroyed by wolves in sheep´s clothing...
and there are 2 sides to every story...few men judge according to the Bible...they defend friends...

Re: Why would a Pastor do this to me ?

The underlined problem in the world of church life.

The pastor holds the power, and sheep have no voice.

Who is reviewing the actions of the pastor?

If a sheep looks to question, remark or suggest.

They are considered out of line.

The sheep then has peer pressure to conform or say nothing to hold any status.

The Pastor right or wrong has no fear of retrobution or loss of position.

The really good pastor's are people person's no matter how you slice them up.

The others deserve the attitudes because they are not people person's.

In every walk of life there are checks and balances.

The only measure in a church is how many people stay or go.

Take inventory around your church.

In the past 5 years have your core members grown and stayed?

Or do you experience turn over every couple of years?

The more turn over you have, the more you should turn over your church and move on.

It doesn't only destroy the reputation of the Pastor, but the whole family is harmed. Why do we never hear of this, but only how someone has been hurt by the pastor. The Pastor's family lives in a glass house.

The very good ministers in the day had wives that kept their minister husband's in check. Today it appears to me that many more ministers have actions, that their wives are afraid or just plain blind to say anything, to their husbands.

My mom would have taken my dad to task, if he were to have said or done some of the things said and done today.

Bring back the stong ministers wives... Please God!
