I have never heard RG described as moderate before!!!

Actually I had both RG and the other UPC guy in the area who not too long ago had a CLC connection in mind when I posted that I bet it was in the San Fran area.

MM is on the South side of Frisco... and Jeff Garner is in the heart of San Franscisco...

The first time I heard the "Hair Cutting on the platform" story, rumor, lie, urban myth...whatever you want to call it....was in the early 90's back when I was evangelizing mostly in California. They told it on a guy who assisted Jimmy Shoemake for several years...his name was Will S....(could not spell the last name properly at this point even if i wanted to)...who was pastoring south of San Jose at the time and took the church out of the UPC....

It was told that he did this thing where he cut his wifes hair during a sermon on beig delivered from bondage and he danced around waving the hair like an old time white hanky shout down......

Looking back, and from personal experience, I have serious doubts that this really happened...especially sice I and five others I know where supposed to have down the same thing...and I know we didn't!!!
