I think you are older than I! However the argument is valid and your picking and choosing is telling. You advocate something you do not believe yourself. You do require something on the part of the penitent.

I'm don't think I'm older than you. I'm not sure how you get that I'm advocating anything. I simply quoted Scripture.

You all know that I preach and teach faith, repentance, baptism in water, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. So you should be able to put any Scriptures I quote into proper perspective without the constant knee-jerk reactions you guys give every time someone quotes what the Bible says about being saved by grace.

There are so many spiritual "piranhas" in Oneness Pentecostal waters I find. This is what Wikipedia has to say about piranhas. "All piranhas have a single row of sharp teeth in both jaws; the teeth are tightly packed and interlocking (via small cusps) and used for rapid puncture and shearing. Individual teeth are typically broadly triangular, pointed, and blade-like (flat in profile)....piranhas are a considerable a nuisance to commercial and sport fishers because they steal bait, mutilate catch, damage nets and other gear, and may bite when handled."

No one should question the sharpness of some OPs. Unfortunately they use this sharpness many times to "mutilate catch, damage nets", and have been known to "bite when handled."

Frankly I get tired of how folks have left the simplicity of the gospel to spend their time seeking to "rapidly puncture" and "shear" someone else's presentation of the gospel. It's a sport to them I think.

Just because the "pencil" is sharp doesn't mean that what is recorded is truth. Yet, I see people taken in all the time by the fact that someone has a sharp mind and can out think them.
